Clara Cabezas, known online as @lamardeclara, is an SSI diving instructor and ocean content creator. She lives and works in Komodo National Park, Indonesia, one of the richest dive destinations on the planet.
From the sea to a way of life
The ocean is not just where Clara works: it is the center of everything she does. She has turned her passion for diving and marine life into a profession that blends teaching, exploration and content creation. For her, every dive is also a story to share.
SSI diving instructor
As an instructor certified by SSI (Scuba Schools International), Clara guides divers of every level, from first-timers to those chasing advanced certifications. Her approach is warm and patient: so that everyone feels safe underwater and enjoys the sea with respect.
Content creator and ambassador
Out of the water, Clara creates underwater content, reels and photography for her community and for brands in the diving and travel world. She is a Mares ambassador and partners with brands like IATI Seguros, sharing with her audience the products and services she uses in the sea herself.
Where she dives
Although her base is Komodo, Clara travels to dive destinations all over the world in search of new encounters: manta rays, sharks, turtles and the tiny creatures many overlook. She shares many of those encounters on her Instagram.
A commitment to the ocean
